‘The Crow’ Remake in Talks?

‘The Crow’ is a cult classic that boasts a large fan base. The epic film from 1994 continues to be watched and shared. ‘The Crow’ made Brandon Lee a star and his untimely passing only amplified the fan hysteria for the film.

Unfortunately, it seems that they have decided ‘The Crow’ needs to be remade. F. Javier Gutierrez is taking the directors seat for this film. The producers for the film, including Ed Pressman, Kevin Misher,  and ‘Relativity’s’ Ryan Kavanaugh and Jeff most, have already taken their spots alongside Gutierrez.

A number of A-list celebs have been considered for the role of Eric Draven, including Bradley Cooper, Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum. None have signed on for the project, but it appears Gutierrez and his crew might have a bite for the role of Draven.

Tom Hiddleston, seen starring in ‘Thor’, ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Thor: The Dark World’ as the amazing antagonist, Loki, is now in talks to star as Eric Draven. Hiddleston has already  met with producers and undergone a makeup test. He’ll soon undergo a second makeup test before making a deal.

‘The Crow’ is set to begin filming this fall. A theatrical release date is yet to be announced.
