Fall is upon us! It’s sweater weather, pumpkin spice lattes are back at Starbucks and new fall pilots are about to be released! Living in Arizona, we might not get the change of season and it might still be hot, but it will be fall in the television world!
5. Super Fun Night
The new ABC show staring Pitch Perfect‘s Rebel Wilson tells the story of three best friends who navigate the social scene for singles in the city. The girls are awkward yet sure to produce some laughs.
Super Fun Night premieres on October 2 at 9:30/8:30 c on ABC.
4. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
This new ABC show is a spin-off from the currently running Once Upon a Time. Slated for a one season run, this show will tell the story of Alice in Wonderland in a new exciting way. Rumor has it that this show will be a darker one than OUAT. The show will wrap up all the loose ends by the season finale. Should ABC pull this endeavor off, we should be seeing a few other fairy tales brought to life this way.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland premieres on October 10 at 8/7 c on ABC.
NBC has decided to take a chance on a show that will re-tell the story of Dracula. The creators of Downtown Abbey took the reigns on this project so fans have high hopes for the show! NBC needs a winner! Starring in the show is none other than Jonathan Rhys Meyers, currently seen staring in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones as Valentine. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this one!
Dracula premieres on October 25 at 10/9 c on NBC.
2. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
This is one show I’ve been anticipating since the first announcement came out! The casting looks fantastic and I am super excited that Clark Gregg will be appearing on the show reprising his role of Agent Coulson. Also appearing in the season premiere is Cobie Smulders who will reprise her role as Maria Hill from The Avengers. From what I saw at this years San Diego Comic Con, this show is going to be a hit among Marvel fans and Agent fans alike!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premieres September 24 at 8/7 c on ABC.
1. The Originals
This Vampire Diaries spin-off is one that I’ve been incredibly excited about! Taking from the original TVD cast, The Originals will tell the story of Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah as they make New Orleans their new home. Fans were already pleased with the backdoor pilot of the show revealed at the end of season four of The Vampire Diaries. I have high hopes for the future of the show. Fans can almost expect to have some cross over between the two shows.
The Originals premieres October 3 at 9 pm ET following the season premiere of The Vampire Diaries on the CW.
