Let’s face it. Summer is over, classes are back in session and most people are waiting (impatiently) for winter break to roll around.

Here’s what you have to look forward to as your semester progresses:

1. ‘Kill Your Darlings’ hits theaters October 18

This film, starring Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Dane DeHaan, tells the story of three great poets brought together after a murder in 1944. Radcliffe and DeHaan are romantically entwined in the film.

2. Allegiant, the final chapter in the Divergent trilogy written by Veronica Roth, hits bookstores everywhere October 22. Join fans as we give our final farewell to Tris and Four!

3. Katy Perry’s new album Prisim releases October 22. Perry’s first single ‘Roar’ has already been a huge hit and fans have high hopes for the remaining contents of the new album. Hopefully soon touring news will be released!

4. Thor: The Dark World hits theaters on November 8. After the spectacle that was Loki’s (Tom Hiddleston) surprise monologue at this years San Diego Comic Con, fans cannot wait for this movie release!

5. Lady Gaga releases her fourth studio album Artpop on November 11. ‘Applause’ your way through your all night study sessions (or partying).

6. Gamers everywhere are anticipating the release of the Playstation 4 on November 15.


7. Not to be out done by Playstation, Xbox releases the Xbox One on November 22.

8. November 22 you can officially catch Catching Fire in theaters. The Hunger Games sequel is bound to be a hit this fall! Many fans will be headed out over the holiday weekend to catch a screening (or two…or three).

9. November 23 Whovians unite around the world to celebrate the 50th anniversary with the official 50th anniversary special! Fans rejoice as David Tennant and Matt Smith unite for what’s to be an explosive episode!

10. December 2 join Will Ferrell, Baxter and the gang in Anchorman 2.

11. Find out who the mother is in the final season of How I Met Your Mother premiering September 29!

12. Enter Wonderland and join Alice on a new journey in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland premiering October 10.

13. Return to the land of the living dead in The Walking Dead on AMC premiering October 13.

14. December 25 Whovians welcome the 12th doctor, Peter Capaldi, in the Christmas special.

15. Bare your neck for a fang-ridden adventure in NBC’s new show Dracula starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers premiering October 25.

16. Prepare for the return of some of your favorite characters in the new season of Supernatural airing October 8 on the CW.

17. Return to Mystic Falls with Elena, Stefan, Damon and the rest of The Vampire Diaries cast as the new season premieres October 3 on the CW.

18. Follow Klaus to New Orleans in The Originals, the new TVD spin-off show premiering October 3 following TVD. Fans have been waiting for this day to come since the backdoor pilot aired in April.

19. Once Upon a Time returns to ABC for its third season on September 29. Will the Storybook residents get their happily ever after?

20. Be part of the team in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and join Agent Coulson in a new chapter. The show premieres on ABC on September 24.

21.  Feel the heat in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug which premieres in theaters on December 13.
